A long time ago,
In a land of mist,
Lived trees and plants,
As soft as a lisp,
A long time ago,
In a motherless lair,
Lived macaws and jaguars,
Without a care,
Where is this place?
You may ask,
In the warmth of the mighty Amazon,
These creatures bask,
Why would anyone want to destroy this?
Such a wonderful place,
Before too long,
Nature might never show its face,
A long time ago,
Far far away,
Lived ants and toucans,
And streams and decay,
Before we know it,
It may be all gone,
Due to the cruel hand of man,
Nature is forlorn.
