Sitting at church on a hot summer's day.
Hardly listening to what the pastor had to say.

I felt a rush of happiness,
Something that I can't express.

Coming back to reality,
I felt I had a new personality.

I suddenly found the gospel intriguing,
Felt it as a matter of needing.

Switching to a holy life,
Helps me deal with all kind of strife.

I promise now to give God all glory,
To try not to forget him when I am poorly.
