When I see the sun rise
at Gallipolli
I get a sense of loss
of negativity

All those young souls
who gave up their lives
they left behind parents,
siblings and wives

We are grateful for your sacrifices
so come Anzac Day
we will all fall silent
as we hear the Last Post play.
