I met a magician, his job to conjure
A cape and a hat he always wore
Step right up, and hold the applause
Magicians despise claps with no valid cause
A difficult heart is his duty to score
and when he begins you’ll ask for more
He’s better than the best, even the pro’s
This is how, his story goes
Bam! He pulls a card, from thin air
faces astounded, people now stare
Tell me your secret? Eyes now draw
To reveal a trick is against magician law
But keeping quiet makes people thick
all because of a harmless magic trick
the crowd, now angry and peeved
so he disappears, hurt and aggrieved
I met a magician, his job to conjure
I never met him, met him
no more...
