Pain

Pain rushes through me,
Hurt runs in my blood,
Trying to escape me,
It won’t work, I’m just a dud.

Suffering surrounds me,
Emotions a flair,
Running round in circles
Screaming, this isn’t fair.

Buildings falling, falling,
Crushing down below,
People hurting everywhere -
Pain is our only foe.
