Clap clap thump thump,
Spinning dancers jump up,
Round and round do the go,
Dancing high and dancing low,
A flickering fire with dancers surround,
Brings light and warmth to spectators around,
The clinking sound of bracelets against bangles joins the drums,
The serenade of the singer joins with string being played,
Children laugh, parents dance, adults sing and pets play,
Together as one and one as a group,
Music in their blood and dance in their bones,
The beat is slowed,
The slapping stops,
The dancers are twirling to the embers of the fire,
The age traditional brings the night to a close,
Forever instilled into their bones,
The magic of a gypsy danceā¦
