All concentration is interrupted,
His warm brown eyes a constant distraction!
I can’t function, my logic’s disrupted,
I know I must take some course of action.
His smile is like an unexpected gift
That catches you pleasantly off your guard.
Focus slips, and suddenly I’m adrift,
These thoughts are something I cannot discard.
When he looks at me I flush a bright red,
If he laughs with me I grin like a fool.
I try to conceal things left unsaid,
Stuck feeling this way, what’s a girl to do?
One of these days I’m going to come clean,
For now though I’ll just continue to dream!
