Pain

When you’re lost in new memories,
And you’re lost in the pain,
And you know that your life,
Will never be the same.
When you stop understanding,
And change within yourself,
And the things that make you you,
Are all left on the shelf.
When something bad happens,
So That you don’t even try to win,
And just let them keep going,
With the lies that they all spin.
It’s the time when you find out,
The truths from the lies,
The time that your inner strength,
Or lack thereof is realised.
To see if you can rise above it and win the game,
Or just let pain go and never again be the same.
