The Blue Bird

The blue bird
Hello my name is Alexandra but everyone calls me Alex I live in a place called The Green
Bird I am the only child in my family my mum and dad are very poor so I don't go to school.
I also don't have any friends so I have quite a sad life.
Our village is called The Green Bird because we see only green birds here.
Last night I had weird dream I saw a blue bird but in the morning I thought I was crazy.
Later that evening I went out into the rainforest to look for some edible plants I got tired
and went to sleep under a small tree.
When I woke up sure enough there was a small blue bird.
It flew straight towards me and landed on my hand it seemed to have some thing tied to it,
a letter, I opened the letter and there it said:
The blue bird you look at is yours to keep please take care of it for the owner can not take
care of it any more for the owner will soon die.
From the blue bird owner.
The letter ended and the bird still on my hand stayed with me even when I went home.
When I arrived home my mother stared at me and wondered where the blue bird came
from.I showed her the letter and she let me keep it.Lucky when I went to get some edible
plants the blue bird ate the seeds from the flowers,so I did not have to feed it.That day a
person from the village saw me with the blue bird the man went to inform The Lord of The
Green Bird Village.
The Lord of the village didn't believe him so he told him to bring the blue bird and me to
see him.
The next day I went to see The Lord, because we were poor The Lord gave us some
money to take care of the blue bird well and he gave us 100,000 dollars my dad then got a
job and I went to school. 10 years later the bird passed on to its new life and I was so sad I
cried for days, I could almost fill a whole river.
That day I went back to the small tree where I first saw the blue bird.I sat under the tree
and tried to see if another blue bird would come but I didn't see one I then went to sleep
under the tree and again when I woke up I saw three blue birds. The population of the blue
birds grew and the villages name was after called The Blue Bird Village and I finally got
some friends that is the time the village and I changed.
