Thunder claps filled the air. A blood curdling scream pierced my ears. Through the fog a ghastly figure approached from the trees. My heart was rapidly beating as if it were to explode! It was the wake of dawn on my birthday and my life was in danger.
I shut my eyes wailing in pain as I ran from the figure hoping it lost my path. Shards of the branches slashed my face impaling it with deep cuts.
I had an inkling that I was being followed. I heard a distinct scream just like the one before, suddenly the figure appeared and grasped my shirt collar. Could it be...
