Sacrifice

Christ was like a pure earthflower
drowning within the cruel waves of despair
which have been set upon him.
But, we have a chance,
if we are able to ask him for forgiveness,
and set aside these waves of peril,
he will not only spare us
from everlasting peril in these waves we set upon him,
but include us in everlasting happiness in the land above.
