I help you see the world,
You help me understand it,
I’ll be there when the world is hazy,
Sitting cross-legged in my case.
I help you walk through the rugged streets,
But I’m forever counting the days and steps,
When you might need another pair of me,
Maybe a size bigger.
I help you weave your thoughts into print,
You help me refine myself when I’m dull,
But you will always have more of me,
Different colours, different shades.
Glasses, shoes, pencils,
Built to help you, loyal for life,
Different colours, different sizes,
I am an object.
