Dad, driving me to school,
In the fluoro – yellow buggy makes me feel cool!
When we play cricket,
You get me out by smashing the wicket.
You boot the football extremely far,
It seems higher than the stars!
Lame Dad-jokes that make me laugh,
I chuckle so much I think I’ll split in half.
Delicious aromas drifting through the house,
I can’t wait to rub your bald head,
Until it’s shiny and red!
Pumping iron with you at the gym,
Helps make us tall and slim.
Camping with the bus or tent,
We never have to worry about rent.
Thumping out “Black Betty” on the bass guitar,
It all adds up to make you a rock star!
