A Heavy Heart

The shiny smile on my face,
Is it really that convincing?
My life is perfect, everyone loves me,
Is that really easy to believe?
If I turned and disappeared,
Would you care?
Would you even notice?
Every fifteen seconds, a life is lost,
Not murder, not slaughter,
But a choice.
Do you see my futile mask,
Or my pain and sorrow inside?
Life is a puzzle,
But what is a puzzle,
When you can't even find the pieces.
