Silence has a sound,
Has a dimension of its own,
For even the longest pauses,
Creak so loud, they shake your bones,
The all say they can’t hear it,
That what you say is just not true,
But if they’d only pause to listen,
Maybe they’d hear the shouting too,
They all think they hear nothing,
But silence is not silent,
It is piercing and ferocious,
Like a wolf, it can be violent,
If they’d only used their eyes,
And had not been so very defiant,
Maybe they’d see the way,
That ‘listen’ can spell ‘silent’.
