Our friendship was as strong as iron
Just like a knight’s armour.
But now it is like a daisy that’s starving for water,
My eyes were like dripping taps
Although plumbers could not fix this.
Words that were nasty filled her head
haunted my dreams when I went to bed.
Our friendship is broken,
Like a vase dropped on a concrete floor. BANG!
Those loving memories had been forgotten in a blink.
There was caution tape surrounding my heart.
She was the lion and I was the victim.
She chomped me up with her sharpening words
That pierced my heart.
