Happiness Is Hard But Achievable

Us as humans take things for granted. There’s no denying it, we take things like love, happiness and the small things in life. Now don’t get me wrong I did to. I’m going to tell you a story about your ordinary ten eleven year old girl. She, like everyone else had goals, hopes and dreams now unlike most other girls her age who wanted to be pop singers, dancers and maybe even the tooth fairy she wanted to be a nurse. She wanted to help those who
needed it and make a difference in the world. Now her life wasn’t perfect but she was happy. It may not have been all sunshine and lollipops but she was happy. She was doing well at school and everything was going good until her life took a turn for the worst.
Everything went downhill and quickly. She was being bullied and tossed aside like she didn’t matter. Who she thought were her friends turned on her she started pretending to be sick so she didn’t have to go to school. There were even times when she felt hurting herself may be a better way to solve her problems than face them head on but she eventually figured that it won’t help at all. She then found that writing helped calm her so she started writing
poems, stories even pro-con lists but unfortunately that stopped working and she went back to being sad and miserable all the time. She then heard that reading is a good way to help calm yourself so she tried that until she had read every book in the house but there was something she read that kept with her and that was that she could never meet the
expectations of everyone around her she could only be the best she could be and that then became her life motto. She then decided to put on a smile’ stop thinking about all the negatives in life and focus on the positives. She tried really hard to find happiness again and eventually did and she now enjoys every little bit of sunshine and lollipops that come her way! Now you may see this as just some story written by a primary school girl but it also
shows that you can find happiness you just have to look hard enough.
