Clash! Bang! Trash!
The sound is all I hear as I peer out my window.
I spot a tiny helpless cat desperately fleeing,
chased by an immensely vicious dog.
The ruckus is suddenly louder as another cat joins the chase.
Clash! Bang! Trash!
Looking down below.
They smash, and crash, and bash into the overfilled trash cans, bouncing around like balls in a pinball machine.
Clash! Bang! Trash!
The dog is making inches on the cats
I couldn’t believe my eyes as I saw water fall from above,
Landing with a splash directly on its target, the dog -
Howling in shock he comes to a halt.
Clash! Bang! Trash!
The cat’s scramble and scurry away in a hurry.
Quiet returns to the neighbourhood, but only for a moment.
Clash! Bang! trash! The ruckus returns.
