Excellence Award in the 'Word Zone 2016' competition
Amidst the darkness, shining bright.
A glimmer of hope glows in thy mind.
It is immortal and forever there,
Those who seek it are prepared to dare.
They fight and crawl to reach the podium end,
Following the essence that leads us to life’s happiness.
Dreams the sacred power of man.
Its picture disoriented, neither thing nor being.
Our dreams are unlike no other, different for every one of us.
Aspire for its gift, before danger clasps and
Confidence is crushed by sinews of the heart,
Leaving a dent deep within.
Doubt caves over, an anchor of despair.
Your dreams still float there.
Through in and throughout.
So how would we suffice without?
