Sunlight shines in periodic specks through the greenest of fresh foliage.
White frost drips off the trees as Winter packs its bags and leaves As Winter shuts the door, Spring takes action.
Splotches of vibrant green arrive on the once frosty grey grass, trees and bushes The most beautiful flowers peak out and glance At the warm transformation from the Winter wonderland Sparkling springs flow and stream in swirling erratic patterns Which fills the air with an ethereal trickling melody birds and insects flutter to work as they urge more plants out of their slumber.
The new season pleases all
The flowers show their liveliest colours The trees wave gently to those around them And a singular spider beams at the fresh glistening droplets of dew on their intricate web Though, the metamorphous is complete for all but a fleeting second As the door opens, heat floods the world.
The first greeting of Summer.
