There are many beautiful ponies these days
But few are free to frolic and play
Only the best of the best can make their way
To where the unicorns hide and play
With saddles and stockmen on their backs
The pony’s follow a narrow track
Until they arrive at a magnificent place
Where the sun shines warmly upon your face
The stockmen chase the unicorns up a steep hill
And down a mountain, cold as steel
The unicorns are impossible to catch
If they get caught they’ll fight and scratch
To let the others run away, the bravest one decides to stay
The stockmen all surround him, so he charges and takes one for an unexpected swim
Then as fast as day the unicorn gallops away
Now the terrified stockmen never go there - even to this very day
