The waterlogged winter has finally taken its last breath
And now the Earth is full of life not death.
As bright as fairies that in sunbeam exists in spring.
Everyone has knowledge of what our seasonal friend will bring.
Roses, scarlet, auburn and pink, all join dots for a loving link,
The daffodils sparkle as pearls, guiding a friendship not to sink,
The jasmines sing a lovely smell to attract the buzzing cells,
They are our mates those bees, they give to us the honey we need,
The honey we need to survive, they give it to us as a treat.
Spring, where flowers perform acrobatics that no one can defeat.
Here you can hear the guffaw of a loud condor,
Screeching and yelping, oh my ears hurt no wonder!
Here where passerines sing as loud as a cavalry to the charge.
Listen to the calls of the unique avifauna, some tiny and many large.
Here, where magnolias dance to the beat of the whooshing winds!
Look to the left and gape at the trickling waterfall, Welcome Spring!
Welcome Spring, where blue resembles peace and ocean is swift.
