I am but a time
Where new species chime
To mystical rhymes
Unlike the cries of those before me.

I am but a dream
A chance to redeem
The aspiring scheme
To void the failures before me.

I am but a fire
Burning with desire
To reverse the dire
Ventures of those before me.

The sands of time have spoken,
The scars of old will recede.
For the misdeeds of the past
Serve to inspire our breed.
