A battle for the sky

Light will come and dark will fade.
It's left to wither in the shade.
To get away from dark of night,
They will awake a morning light.
If darkness grows a night will peak.
Soon light can be the thing you seek.
There is no need to be afraid,
These laws of earth must be obeyed.
