A Last Goodbye Forever

I've seen it a lot lately, the back of him,
He leaves us to rot when the future looks grim
Running from problems, and ripples in fate.
But he just can't see that now it's too late,
Too late to crawl back into my open arms,
He'll leave us again I know once he is calm.
He's broken my heart more than once over again
His drugs and his bottle, his only true friend
A hurt tear rolls down my guilt-ridden face,
I'm sick of depression and losing life's race.
Dad I don't want you back in my life, no not ever,
I had enough now 'cause you think you're so clever!
Mother and I are now leaving this pain,
Dad I'm sorry but this time you're efforts were vain.
