A Horrible Day

It started out as a lovely day
But it ended up like mashed up clay
Would you like to know how it all started?
Well, it all happened when roofs and houses parted


It came like a wind that was very light
But when I looked out the window it was a horrible sight
A terrible monster from a story had come
To take away creatures both sane and dumb

My imagination flew extremely wild
As the number of the police, I hurriedly dialed
I imagined different types of scary monsters
Some looked fictious some looked like lobsters

Out of nowhere I heard a bell
Hitting around, of my bed I fell
Was that the truth or was it a dream
Whichever one it was, it made me scream
