The waves crashed hypnotizingly along the shore, before being sucked back out to repeat again. In. Out. In. Out. The ever-darkening sky rumbled above and the seagulls screeched where they were perched, on the street lamp a few yards away. Lisa didn't say or do anything. She just sat and stared because if she moved or spoke they would notice she was here. All she had to do was blend. Blend with the waves and the thunder; the seagulls cries and the white, grainy sand that she sat on. Lisa never wanted to leave this place, it was her home, her life, her everything. But the sea knew and the clouds and the seagulls, they all knew that she was leaving and there wasn't anything that any of them could do. So for now she sat and waited while the waves, clouds and gulls screamed in agony.
