They stand together
As the wind blew against them
They send a roar of power
Facing their deaths
Anticipating a bloody battle
Their leaves quiver and shake with fear
They know no boundaries
They can lift their branches
And send everything flying
The greed filled eyes of the monsters
Inched closer and closer
Then the sound of machinery
The monsters tear them apart
Trunk by trunk
Branch by branch
Leaf by leaf
