Jack, Mindy, Joey, Sue and Max were all great friends. Everything was going fine until Mindy was left home alone. While at home she carelessly left the door unlocked while she watched T.V.

Then as the lightning struck, the power went out. The door slamed shut and she screamed. She got scared so she quickly called her friends on her mobile. Suddenly her phone cut out.

She turned around and saw someone run through the house, she started panicking. She'd only just called her friends. They couldn't possibly been here so quickly, she though. A vase was throw at her head but only just missed, she ran to the back door, but she couldn't open it. Suddenly the front doorbell rang and her friends came in.

She ran towards them and screamed, 'There's someone in this house trying to kill me!' At first they just though it was a prank, then they saw she was serious. They went towards her and tried to calm her down. It was hopeless. They went to the front door but it wouldn't open. They saw somebody run through the shadows.

Suddenly Mindy and Jack were on the ground unconscious, and bleeding. They had been hit in the head with a long rusty pipe. Joey, Sue and Max screamed. Together they dragged Mindy and Jack to the closet. Then they made a plan.

Mindy and Jack regained consciousness but were still bleeding. Everyone grabbed some tools. Somehow they set a trap and locked the man in a bedroom. He was trapped. Max waited outside the bedroom while the others broke a window and got the police. When they returned Max was unconscious and the man had exscaped. The police quickly called an ambulance for Max. They later relised Max was in a coma.

Jack has to go to therapy for the rest of his life. Mindy had to go to a mental instutute. Max never woke up from his coma and they eventally had to turn off the machine that was keeping him alive. Joey comitted suicide by hanging himself. Sue was presumed dead after lots of her blood was found on a park bench. And the man that was in Mindy'shouse was captured and given the death penlenalty and killed or so they though.
