Tears fall to let people know how you feel.
People shag to portray just how they’re loving.
Poets write, and painters paint.
It’s their expression, their contribution to the world and these incredible people living in it. These expressions they move people, to tears, and to bearing emotions that have been long locked away, because if these emotions break through the barriers we make for ourselves then there is no more sanctuary.
The artists bleed onto the pages of their work, leaching their love and life. And we turn away, always scared of what confrontments will be brought to the surface.
