A Dane named Olaf, without tribute or farm
With flashing war sword and shield
Travelled on longships prow
A treacherous journey battling waves
To seas near and far
Sailing by sense, sea and stars
These wrathful pagan sailors
Longed for Lindisfarne treasure
Olaf now bold and blooded
Went singing to Ireland shores
Christian souls destroyed by Wotan sword
Only Celtic craft saved all our souls.
The Vikings sail on!
