The light creeps back,
as a wakeful night draws on,
we hear steps upon the track,
as weary legs trudge on,
the flickering streetlamp
casts dusk onto the dirt,
the rail of a ramp
causing only hurt
the restraints of a stricken world
causing only harm
as the threads of lives are unfurled
they loose they former charm...
