Nanna

Dedicated to my Nanna who recently passed away

You liked to read your books alot,
and cook me frankfurts in a pot.
In day you took me to the park,
and let me sleep when it was dark.
You were the only grandma that I knew,
and I still loved you through and through.
You happened to be very artistic,
and in your cupboard there was chocolate and biscuits.
All the time you cared for me,
like fixing pants when there's a hole in the knee.
You taught me things like how to knit,
and even played games though you didn't like it.
And yes, I know you loved your pets,
and hated taking them to the vet.
Nanna, everyone misses you so,
and this is what I want you to know,
I love you.
