Fisherman by the seashore, with a girl, his daughter: Grace,
Gazes the horizon, with the sea winds in his face.
He knows neither fear nor worries, only simple pleasures, free,
One of these is standing there, amongst the great blue sea.
No money lines his pockets, if he has pockets at all,
No TV in his living room, no art upon the wall.
His meals are nice but simple, his house built strong with stones,
He takes pleasure in life itself, not in the things he owns.
How few share his opinion, of money, life and things,
One needs not mounds of cash and gold, to enjoy what life brings.
Fishing is his passion; his daughter is his pearl,
He casts his line one last time, then hands it to the girl.
