Vines swaying gently like giant apes
Swinging palms to music of the jungle
Exploding mossy roots drooping down cliffs
Lush flowers, colours bursting through petals
Trees towering, nature’s mossy ladder
Slowly sniffing the wet salty sweat
Trickling softly down my dry mottled cheek
Final tastes of the sweet fresh water
My lips moist as water drops jump up
Withering bamboo with no hint of pride
The whole jungle in a sweet unison
Like a bouquet of scented flowers
Secrets inside leaves of every flower
Sounds of warming peace in its surroundings
The sounds of mysterious chanting
Crackling leaves like spears against my feet
The burning suns fire leaning through the mist
The deep forest of Malaysia
