Leaving...

I looked for the last time
With watery eyes and a broken heart.
Those old faces,too,looked back
Through the glass windows, and the mist
That trapped their souls and mine.
Once on the train, out I dared not peek,
Those unpleasant faces I had now
Seen for the final time.
I am leaving. Leaving those deep roots
And a million memories behind:
Of everlasting summer dreams,
Lost loves and endless adventures
And of chilly Thursday nights
Walking dazedly in Papa's house.
Leaving fourteen years of happy life
With only one scene of miserable regret.
