Balloons float through her thoughts
Daydreaming of a simple time
Running water and heavy sighs
Light filters through her drowsy eyes
She sits at her desk and wanders away
Amid childish laughter
And joyful play
Gay and merry with love to share
Balloons in the sky and ribbons in her hair
