Happily Ever After

I watch the water arise,
You can see it in my eyes,
washing up against the sand,
Right onto our own land.

I can hear the childrens laughter,
It's their happily ever after,
Wearing the necklace made with a heart of gold,
It will give them something to hold.

I take a gaze at the perfect parents,
Just imagine if they were on a heart shaped terrace,
Two people who are meant for each other,
has finally found one another.

I walk away from perfect family,
To try to find my one and only,
So my heart will have a beginning,
And therefore it must have a happy ending.
