The happy days where she played
Nothing but a masquerade
Popping pills to ebb the pain
Overdosing, encompassed by rain
Nights a blur, days are black
Everyone knows she's not coming back
So many people still don't even know
She had been feeling so broken and low
A once happy girl is lost, now gone
Here are the daydreams that she had drawn
Cigarette butts and cloudy days
The pills made them just a dirty haze
Goodbye love, we hope you're happy now
You did so well, take a bow
We love you and we hope you know
We would have helped you long ago
