She was dignified in a way to no other it was possible
She was smart and funny and loveable still
She new right from wrong which was perfect for me
But no matter what happened she’d always be with us
She was courageous in a way that would put knights to shame
She was determined and enthusiastic and trustworthy still
She was slightly egotistical which never bothered me
But no matter what happened she’d always be with us
She never felt shame from what I could see
She was my father’s favourite partner in ball catching games
She was glad to laze in the shade everyday…
My heart sunk the day that the she never came home
Her fluffy yellow-brown ears will never be seen,
Except in the scrapbook in memory of my dog Jedda
