What do you want?
We come here everyday,
Taking an overcrowded bus or train.
The smell of pollution surrounds us,
As we walk into the place, all of us dread to be.
What do you want?
We complete your tasks,
Follow your rules,
Trying to impress you.
But, you’re still disappointed.
What do you want?
We wear you clothes,
Hoping that they disappeared during the night.
Pulling at them endlessly,
As the itchy fabric takes over our skin.
What do you want?
We stress over your exams,
Studying day and night.
Proving that we can do well,
But, to whom are we trying to prove?
