Pain, Death and Healing
The three stages of life

Bark
Dead skin hangs silent
Brown and battered as can be
But from death comes life.
Death
It’s unpredictable
It strikes without any warning
A new star is born.
Darkness
The sun hides in fog
And the darkness creeps on though
Not to leave again.
Light
Although it’s lost
A beam of light shines on through
Hope is found again.
