The sun’s warmth is enticing, lingering with every breath I take;
this serene beauty; the lovely flow of the lake.
The loud noises once heard seem to be a quiet whisper;
No longer will my thoughts of urban life continue to make me whimper.
The pure and lush nature flows through the heart and soul;
how this came to be, some do not know.
What is known to me is soon I will wake;
and come forth in a reality where society remembers your mistakes.
Cruelty and injustice poisons considerably to the heart’s content,
Dystopia influences without any form of repent.
The fumes of evil pollute our very core;
this senselessness, no one can adore.
Nature falls powerless to the city’s doom;
and extinction could occur almost too soon.
Nature can prevail, if its beauty is taken in;
and rid a world full of harshness and sin.
