A Girl Named Kate

I know a girl named Kate
Who always messed with fate.
She got in an absolute state
and said simply nothing but wait.

She then gained a lot of weight
Because for a while she only ate
And got a beautiful portrait
Of her sitting quite straight.

After that she found a mate
Who was very attached to a plate
And a completely empty crate
But was despite that great!

It is now terribly late
And I am sitting on a grate
Which I downright hate
Extremely unfirst-rate!
