Party Time!

the cars are speeding by
the music is on high
above the traffic sound
as the music plays all around

every one having a great time
on the motley coloured floor
as it twists and winds
out through the open door

“turn it up”“turn it up” we all shout
as balloons lightly flow all about
singing in and out of tune,
frenzied dancing fills the room

Candles blazing , a wish is made
the birthday song is done
as the night begins to fade
a brand new year has begun
