Today I was late
For my date
With my mate
Whose name is Tate?
We had to wait
Before we ate
We thought it was fate
BUT WAIT!
The girl I hate
Came over and ate
She stole my date
Her name was Kate
I ran out at eight
He chased me to my gate
And said “RATE THE DATE”!
