(As Hamlet is on a ship bound for England where he is due to meet his death; he ponders amongst the tranquility of the ocean and he regrets his break up with Ophelia and wants her to be with him.)
As the ocean breathes, the stars alight
The moon glitters within its plead
The sea drowns the unique sight
Alone with romance on the sea
Solitary, the waves scavenge alone
The sea is calling to you and me
No words they speak are ever known
Alone with romance on the sea
Space exhibits its eternal emotion
The fish are swimming ever so free
The silent killer disguised as the ocean
Alone with romance on the sea
A burning light, a fuming fire
I wish her here, O be with thee
Ophelia art thou heart’s desire
Alone with Romance on the sea
Beauty here by thy natural art
Yet she is absent in my heart
Why isn’t thou beauty here with thee
Alone with romance on the sea?
My soul is screeching a blessed tone
That will bring my love, here in blood and bone,
My heart still longs, despite I’m free,
Alone with romance on the sea
(Sadly, he returns home to Denmark where Ophelia is dead after committing suicide, he cannot tell her of his love)
