A blazing light among despair, a broken heart beyond repair
Forever smiling, burning bright, no matter what hardships you hold hope tight
A radiating star within the dark, but life is no stroll through the park

You were the one abandoned by God, rejected by society, seen as odd
Yet you are smiling that tender smile, and that’s why you are so very vile
For I know the lies under your painted mask, and the end result of your impossible task

You are so illusive and deceptive, are your friends, so doubtful in your perspective?
Of your thousands of dreams that have burnt to dust, why can you not try to finally trust?
I hold an ever-pending fear, that one day you will just disappear
Like a dying flame, a burnt out taper, and become nothing but ink and paper
Hence I will keep forever praying, please love this child and bless this soul from ever dying.
