A Cowgirls Life

Growing up on the farm
Riding horses all the way
Around in the woods
Where the animals play
Loving my life as a cowgirl that I am
Then one day I feel of my horse near the pigpen
Jumping a tree branch as big as a tower
I broke my arm ‘talk bout ouch a’
When I ride in the woods
With the wind through my hair
I feel happy
With a sign of fair
One year later I go to the doctor
To see if I could ride again
They said to be careful around that horse
In case it wanted revenge
I love this life
I’m as happy as could be
But someday when I get old
That will be the end for me
But for now as I am getting older
I need to be more careful
In case I make it the complete
End of my riding career
After my next competition in barrel racing Australia
That will be the last race for me
As I make it the end of my riding career
Moving to Tasmania with my family
