Finalist in the 'Word Express 2010' competition
An island, lonely as a mountain on its own
Birds fly like planes, they pass by
Trees sway like whispering ghosts
The island is quiet, and blue
Like a rock
Waves rush by like blind mice
No tune
No Sound
Not a movement, frozen like ice
But still it is an island
And this island has a gift
Shiny pearls shine like rings
Only fish know this island, but the island never knows they are there
Silent coconuts are the islands eyes
